Richardson unbeaten as Online Darts League Group A continues

James Richardson ended up unbeaten on Day Two of Group A in Online Darts League after five victories over the course of Tuesday.

Richardson defeated Martin Adams (4-3), Conan Whitehead (4-3), Joe Davis (4-2), Shaun McDonald (4-0) and Colin Osborne (4-1) in a successful day for ‘Ruthless’.

He does not lead the overall table though with McDonald claiming eight wins and two defeats leaving him on 16 points followed by Richardson and Osborne.

Until Wednesday, each player plays once a day against the other players in the group. The winner of this group goes directly to the final group on Saturday.

The numbers two, three and four of the ranking will play a new group against two new players on Thursday evening and Friday evening. This is Chas Barstow and Jamie Clark.

The numbers five and six of the ranking on Wednesday will also play a new group against new participants. Richie Burnett, Jarred Cole, Greg Ritchie and Scott Marsh are the entrants in this group. They will be in action on Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon.

From the evening group, three players go to the final group and from the morning group two, so that the final group consists of six players.

Unlike the first edition of the Modus League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam connection, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel .
