Gary Anderson will be one of the favourites to claim the World Grand Prix next week but has admitted himself that his priorities are not darts anymore.
Anderson said that while it pays his bills, he doesn't see it a job but more as a paid hobby and that has been the mindset throughout his career.
"I am actually quite satisfied with my form and results this season. Of course I could have done more but I barely practice, other players do, but my family is currently the priority", 'The Flying Scotsman told RTL 7 .
"If I retire, I will probably regret that I never really took darts seriously like for example Van Gerwen, Taylor and Bristow. For me it has always been a paid hobby, I have never seen it as a job. Of course it is nice that you can pay your bills because of that, but I've always had a lot of fun, that's the most important thing. "
