Anderson hits six 180's en route to hard fought win over Van den Bergh, De Sousa sets up Van Gerwen showdown after Clemens win

Gary Anderson and José de Sousa have reached the Last 16 at the Masters in Milton Keynes, England. Anderson's win came at the expense of Dimitri van den Bergh in which the two-time World Champion hit six 180's in a hard fought win.

It was missed doubles that proved fatal for the Belgian. Van den Bergh missed three darts to lead 5-4 and then also three darts to make it 5-5.

As a result, the 6-4 win went to 'The Flying Scotsman' who will look to begin a pivotal season with a good run in Milton Keynes. Next up, he will face Rob Cross.

De Sousa proved too strong for World Championship semi-finalist Gabriel Clemens. The Portuguese broke the German with a 12-darter in the ninth leg, and then watched as Clemens missed six darts for a break back. De Sousa then took the win via double 4. Next is Michael van Gerwen.
