Anderson wants to overtake Jocky Wilson with three world titles

Gary Anderson has won most major titles including becoming back-to-back World Champion but as 'The Flying Scotsman' goes for a third, he has one goal in mind.

Anderson will face off against Dave Chisnall in a bumper tie this evening after the St Helens ace dumped out Michael van Gerwen and the Scot has overtaking compatriot Jocky Wilson with three World Championship wins on his mind.

"I remember my dad watching Jocky. It would be nice to get three. I've won a hell of a lot of tournaments as well as the Worlds. The Premier League against the best in the World, the Matchplay. I've won all them," said Anderson to The Sun.

"If I did retire, I'd be happy as Larry. I've proved myself. I've done it. Do I need to prove myself any more? No I'm just going to play."
