The numbers of Nathan Aspinall and Andrew Gilding are the first to enter the ball pit for the draw for the Quarter-Finals at the UK Open in Minehead.
Aspinall booked an easy win over Joe Cullen on the main stage. 'The Asp' won the first three legs and went into the break with a 4-1 lead. He then extended his lead to 8-2. Also after the second break, Cullen was not able to find his rhythm and it resulted into 10-2 win for Aspinall.
On court 2, Gilding showed resilience by making up both a 5-2 deficit and an 8-5 deficit. With a 13-darter in the 17th leg, 'Goldfinger' then took the lead before finishing it off with an 18-darter.
