Automatic qualifiers revealed for German Darts Championship including Van Gerwen, Price and Michael Smith

The entire top-16 of the cleaned Pro Tour rankings have signed up for the German Darts Championship. This Euro Tour tournament in Hildesheim is scheduled from Oct. 13 to 15.
The top-16 of the Pro Tour Order of Merit will automatically receive an invitation. Also, these players will flow into the tournament from the second round. These names include Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price and Michael Smith.
Top players such as Dave Chisnall, Luke Humphries, Josh Rock, Rob Cross, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Jonny Clayton, Peter Wright and Danny Noppert are also competing at the German Darts Championship.
The field of participants for this Euro Tour tournament consists of 48 players. The remaining 31 participants come from various qualification tournaments. On Wednesday, September 6, Tour Card holders will get the chance to qualify at a qualifying tournament where no less than 24 spots are up for grabs.
