Baggish on what being a father means: "It means more to me than life itself"

With today (Sunday 20 June) being Fathers' Day in the UK, Danny Baggish was interviewed as part of a piece with Target Darts about what it means to be a father.

"It means more to me than life itself. I pride myself in being a father and having my kids around me makes me the happiest person ever," he said to Target Darts.

For 'The Gambler' who is of course initially from the US, it is difficult to be based in the UK and away from his family and he discussed the balance between the two.

"It's tough. I find it both mentally and emotionally draining. There have been times where I have just cried in my hotel room after getting off the phone. I am getting better at it but I don't think the feeling of missing them will never go away."

If he had one piece of advice for his kids, he said the following.

"Dreams are meant to come true. If you put the work in and want to follow your dream, then in the end you will succeed."
