Barry Hearn's autobiography My Life set to be released in April

PDC President, Barry Hearn's illustrious career will be recounted in his autobiography, My Life which will be released on April 28, 2022 with Hodder and Stoughton snapping up the rights.

In a rags to riches story, Hearn put sports like boxing, darts and snooker on the map and received an OBE last year for his services to sport.

He retired in 2021 after a 40 year career as one of the leading sports promoters in the country handing the reigns over to his son, Eddie Hearn who has took his mantle and has become one of the biggest boxing promoters in the world.

He is now PDC Chairman with Barry still holding some sway as President and he tells all in this new autobiography.

"It has been an absolute pleasure to chronicle my life and in particular my career in various sports. I hope this book will educate and entertain readers by following my journey as my company Matchroom evolves from just me and a PA under a billiard hall in Essex, into one of the biggest and most successful sports promotion companies in the world. Enjoy the journey," said Hearn.
