Bunting tests negative ahead of International Darts Open in Riesa after previous positive test

Adrian Lewis announced earlier on Thursday that he tested negative for Coronavirus ahead of the International Darts Open in Riesa after previously testing positive before the World Grand Prix.

Now Stephen Bunting similarly has tested negative after both underwent a period of self isolation in accordance with government guidelines and now will head out to Germany.

Players on the European Tour at the moment due to travel restrictions into Germany have to produce a negative test before they travel from the UK.

"Pleased to inform everyone that I have tested negative for covid19 now and I am so happy it’s over. Although I had no symptoms it has stopped me playing the game I love," said the former Lakeside World Champion on Twitter.

"Riesa here I come. The Bullet is back and raring to go."
