Bunting wins PDC Home Tour Group 18 with clean sweep of victories

Stephen Bunting is through to the next round after claiming PDC Home Tour Group 18 with a clean sweep of victories.

Bunting saw off Harald Leitinger (5-4), Kim Huybrechts (5-1) and Nathan Derry (5-1) in an impressive evenings work from 'The Bullet'.

The St Helens ace went into the final game knowing that the equation was simple, win three legs and he'd secure the group and he did so in four against Derry. He didn't take the foot off the pedal from there seeing off the Suffolk ace in a 5-1 win.

This came after Kim Huybrechts put himself in a good position with victory over Harald Leitinger which was a 5-1 win with a 101 average but like alluded to, it wouldn't mean anything if Bunting could get the requisite legs and he did.

Every evening, the four players will each face off; with each match being the best of nine legs. This group stage lasts 32 days with that amount of players set to reach the next round to play it out from there to crown a winner.

All players have webcams set up in their houses and say their scores out loud; to make sure that they can be inputted correctly without any cheating taking place.
