Burness, Williams, Hayden and Owen qualify for UK Open

Further UK Open qualifiers have been confirmed from the Riley’s Amateur Qualifiers including Kevin Burness and Robert Owen who won through this past weekend.

Burness was playing in the Nottingham qualifier and the news was broken by his management MDA Promotions as the two time World Championship qualifier; who lost his Tour Card at the end of last year won through the field.
Welshman Lewy Williams will also be involved. ‘The Surgeon’ who has previously played on the Development Tour; as well as at Q-School will make his debut after winning through in Sheffield.
He will be joined by compatriot Robert Owen who claimed victory in the second Wolverhampton event; the first one was won by Fallon Sherrock a few weeks ago.
Also Rhys Hayden will be involved having won through in South Benfleet which going off previous years is one of the toughest qualifiers to win and it was a field with over 120+ entries this time. He defeated former UK Open qualifier Dan Read in the final.
