The fourth Players Championship event has been completed with another weekend of action in Wigan done and as a result we take a look at the highest averages from the final event.
Peter Wright was top of the rankings with his 112.8 average during his Quarter-Final win over Maik Kuivenhoven; despite that he went out next round with his second best average of the day 103.81 against Ian White.
Michael van Gerwen is second. 'Mighty Mike' has played well over the course of the two weekends; but has not been in the winners' circle yet at all in 2020 and his highest average came against Ryan Murray yesterday with 110.9.
He also hit 107.4 which was also on the list against Gary Anderson. Interspersed between that average is Ian White who returned to the foray on the ProTour on Sunday in what has gleamed him his biggest success in the past; he hit 107.6 during his win over Jan Dekker in the first round.
He didn't hit anymore ton plus average; but en route to the final yesterday he maintained a steady 96-97 range throughout; as he lost out to Krzysztof Ratajski.
Speaking of Ratajski, he has three of the top averages on the list in a row with 106.45, 104.52 and 104.49 yesterday as his new darts were working perfectly
on his way to victory. These came against Gabriel Clemens, Nick Kenny and Robert Collins.
He also appears further down the list with 103.13 against Danny Noppert in his semi-final in what was a brilliant day of darts from 'The Polish Eagle'.
Among those also on the list include Darius Labanauskas who hit 103.68 against Michael Smith and Conan Whitehead, with the duo well known for hitting the heights on the ProTour average wise without claiming the titles.
