Jonny Clayton is looking forward to the upcoming World Matchplay with confidence. Still, the 48-year-old Welshman has never done great at this particular PDC major.
Clayton never got past the second round at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. In four of his five appearances, he even lost in the opening round. "It's one of my favourite tournaments and I just can't perform," laments 'the Ferret'. "My luck's bound to turn sometime."
"I just need to get past that first round you know, Blackpool's not been very kind to me," he concludes.
