Cullen dumps out defending champion Humphries as Aspinall overcomes Gilding with second semi-final set at German Darts Grand Prix

Joe Cullen will face Nathan Aspinall in the second semi-final at the German Darts Grand Prix with the first featuring Michael Smith facing Damon Heta in Munich on Monday evening.
Cullen dethroned the defending champion, Luke Humphries in a 6-3 win which completed the line-up. 'The Rockstar' has been gaining confidence all weekend and could be a season-defining one.
He came from 3-1 down to reel off five consecutive legs to win 6-3 sealing it with a 58 checkout on double 10 with 40% on the doubles, three 180's and a 92 average to boot.
Next up is Aspinall who didn't produce his best display but sealed a 6-4 win with a 93 average, three 180's and 50% on the doubles to defeat UK Open champion, Andrew Gilding.
In a game that was nip and tuck throughout, Aspinall fired the hammer blow to seal the deal with a break of throw. He hit a 12-dart 85 checkout on the bull for the win and will look for his first title of the season.
