Damon Heta claimed his maiden PDC title this week at the PDC Autumn Series and as a result, he has now confirmed his spot at the Grand Slam of Darts.
This is due to the winner of the Order of Merit claiming a spot at the event and with Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright and Michael van Gerwen all of course already qualified, 'The Heat' will claim the spot.
The Brisbane Darts Master was likely to qualify anyway due to the reserve list (winners on the Players Championship series) potentially set to fill the rest of the spots due to the lack of events taking place this year but this now confirms it.
He finished ahead of Joe Cullen in particular in the running for the spot as well as Mensur Suljovic and Devon Petersen.
