Darts veteran Jones wins his fourth tournament on Challenge Tour

Wayne Jones has won the 11th tournament of the PDC Challenge Tour 2023. It is his fourth Challenge Tour title in his career, having previously won three in 2017.

The 58-year-old dealt with successively Carlo van Peer (5-4), Colin Osborne (5-4), Matthew Dennant (5-4), Adam Mould (5-4), Ciaran Teehan (5-4), Owen Maiden (5-2), Cam Crabtree (5-1) and Daniel Ayres (5-2) to secure the title.

On this tour, reserve spots for the Pro Tour 2023 and Tour Cards for 2024 and 2025 can be earned. The highest-placed players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit qualify for the reserve spots on the Players Championships.
