At 12 p.m. the final qualifying tournament for the World Darts Championship will start in Barnsley. Here the last four starting spots for the World Darts Championship will be distributed.
Participating in this qualifying tournament are PDC Tour Card holders who have not yet qualified for the prestigious event at Alexandra Palace. Initially, two tickets for the World Darts Championship were to be up for grabs. However, due to the cancellation of Beau Greaves and because both PDC Youth World Championship finalists have already qualified for the major World Darts Championship, there are now four places to be divided among the participants.
Participants in the qualifying tournament well known names such as Mensure Suljovic, Mervyn King, Jeffrey De Zwaan, Jeff Smith, Vincent van der Voort, Scott Waites, Darren Webster, Darius Labanauskas, Devon Petersen and Richie Burnett are going to try to force qualification for the World Darts Championship in this way.
