Draw revealed for Players Championship 25 including Michael Smith, Price, Wright, Anderson, Aspinall and Cross

On October 18 at the Metrodome in Barnsley, Players Championship 25 gets underway and the draw has now been revealed with many of the sport's top stars in action.

Peter Wright and Nathan Aspinall will be involved and the two, multiple-time major winners need good results as both currently sit outside the qualifying positions for the upcoming Players Championship Finals. For Wright, he has a potentially tricky first round tie with Kim Huybrechts and for Aspinall it's a showdown with Jermaine Wattimena.

Top stars such as the likes of Gerwyn Price, Gary Anderson, Rob Cross, Dave Chisnall, Michael Smith and Jonny Clayton will also be in Barnsley hoping for Players Championship glory. Price faces Ryan Meikle, for Anderson it's Damian Mol.

Cross is up against Pascal Rupprecht with Chisnall taking on Bradley Brooks. Michael Smith faces off with Adam Gawlas whilst Clayton has an all-Welsh tie with Nick Kenny to contend with.

A total of 100,000 pounds in prize money is distributed at each Players Championship tournament. The winner of the event will receive a check for 12,000 pounds.
