Dutch darts fans can meet at renamed TOTO Dart Kings Café during the World Darts Championship

Dutch darts fans going to the PDC World Darts Championship in London can meet beforehand or afterwards at a specially set-up pub near Alexandra Palace.

Café The Starting Gate, located a ten-minute walk from the playing venue, will be renamed the TOTO Dart Kings café.

This concept is a sequel to the Holland Heineken House, which is currently set up at the Olympics. The Holland Heineken House was once conceived in 1992 by sports marketer Chris Woerts, also the boss of the darts team TOTO Dart Kings. That team consists of Michael van Gerwen, Danny Noppert, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Vincent van der Voort and Raymond van Barneveld.

"The pub at darts is much smaller scale than the Heineken House though," Woerts told a press conference in Maasdriel on Wednesday. "But we would like to facilitate a sociable preparation for the fans together."
