Belgian TV channel VTM 2 has set up a Darts Academy in cooperation with Erik Clarys. The goal is to help some Belgians get a Tour Card this way.
"The 'Darts Academy' is currently running at full speed," Clarys opened at VTM 2. "There are weekly training sessions and everyone is almost always present, there is particularly high enthusiasm among the participants."

Clarys also noticed that everyone is extremely motivated. "Moreover, of the 34 players selected, no fewer than 17 are under 25. There really is a lot of potential in Belgium."
Q-School
Of the 34 players selected, 15 may eventually go to Q-School early next year. "We do all kinds of drills and I write down the scores on those in lists each time. The best 15 players get to go to Q-School and that is fully paid for by VTM."
