After a good 2019, Ted Evetts didn't carry that over into 2020 and 'Super Ted' now wants to recapture that form.
Evetts missed the World Championship for the first time in four years which he admitted was a 'massive blow'.
"Obviously missing the World Championship was a massive blow. I've been there the previous three World Championships so not making four in a row was very frustrating but on the other side of it, I hadn't had a great year last year so in all honesty, I didn't deserve to have a spot there," said Evetts to Tungsten Tales.
"It was frustrating definitely but it makes me want to work harder for it and it also felt like in the back of my mind that my career has kind of gone backwards a few steps."
Still only 23 years old, he currently sits 62nd in the Order of Merit and he has a few specific goals in mind.
"Just get back to performing how I should be really. The previous year I felt really good and confident in any game I was going into, I made my first Quarter-Final which was on the European Tour, won the Development Tour, was playing really good consistently so just getting back to being consistently where I want to be."
"I feel like I need to have a bit of a kick on in a major this year as well, now going into a sixth year, it has to be something to come out of it for me."
