Extra £10,000 donated to Parkinson's UK by World Matchplay title sponsors Betfred after 180 mark reached

An extra £10,000 has been donated to Parkinson's UK after the amount was reached that was set by World Matchplay title sponsors Betfred pre-tournament.

They previously stated that they will donate £50 for every 180 scored during the tournament; also if the players match or exceed the total set last year of 501, the aforementioned £10,000 will also be donated.

This means before the final tonight, the current total is at £25,050; with it likely increasing in the tie between Rob Cross and Michael Smith.
