Father son duo Steve and John Brown on aspirations: "The dream is to be at Ally Pally together"

Since the start of this year, a father-son combination is once again active on the PDC ProTour with Steve and John Brown the first in a long time.

The former returned to the tour last year and called it a 'dream' to have his son on tour with him.

"It was a sort of dream coming true in front of my own eyes. It's what we dreamt of. You always hope it's going to happen and when it does, it's a special feeling," said Steve to the PDC.

While for John, he spoke of watching his dad growing up and also the big aspiration they have for this year.

"Growing up, I've loved darts since as long as I remember. Obviously growing up from an early age about 12 years old, remember going to the Winter Gardens and Ally Pally watching my dad," said John.

"It's a big dream to be on the same tour together and the other dream is to be at Ally Pally together. Fingers crossed we both do well and get there."
