Former PDC World Darts Championship participant, Sudesh Fitzgerald is in a coma after a serious car accident, it has been confirmed with a GoFundMe page set up to attempt to help him.

Playing back in 2009 at the Alexandra Palace, he faced South African ace Charles Losper losing 6-4 in sets in the preliminary and has since continued to play in particular in his native Guyana where he is the current Men's National Darts Champion.
As per the GoFundMe page which is in place to help transfer him to a private hospital, he is on life support in the Georgetown Public Hospital with the equipment not there to give the support needed with injuries including a broken jaw, broken foot, loss of part of his liver, head injuries and broken hip as well as internal injuries.
