The first round is underway at Players Championship 28 with Luke Humphries and yesterday's winner Rob Cross through the opening hurdle.

Humphries eased past Maik Kuivenhoven in a 6-1 win averaging 110 in the process, while for Cross, it was a 6-2 win over Brian Raman.
Chris Dobey currently has the second highest average so far with 102 against Damian Mol. While there were also wins for Dirk van Duijvenbode, Damon Heta, Michael Smith and Jonny Clayton.
It is early exits though for Dave Chisnall, Peter Wright, Dimitri van den Bergh and Danny Noppert.
Chisnall averaged just 77 as he lost out to Geert de Vos 6-2, while Wright was edged past by William O'Connor 6-4. Van den Bergh was a 6-1 loser to Gian van Veen, while Noppert lost narrowly to Alan Soutar who has had a superb weekend.
