Luke Humphries has had a brilliant year so far reaching multiple finals on the ProTour and also at the UK Open and has qualified for the World Matchplay as a result.
Humphries recently spoke to Tungsten Tales and believes a title is on its way to his collection soon.
"I don't think there's many people. I think it's probably me, Jose (De Sousa), Jonny (Clayton) and Joe (Cullen) who have made that many finals. I think the three finals I've played I've been sort of unlucky with the way they've played against me. It's going to build me up, it's going to help me. There's a win on the horizon, it's going to come," he said to Tungsten Tales.
"My main goal is to win a ProTour this year, I feel like I'm in that form where I can."
In terms of his World Matchplay debut, he will take on James Wade who defeated him in the UK Open final. It is a tournament though that has been on his radar and will be a special moment.
"This is always a competition I've dreamed of being at. I think it's the hardest competition to qualify for, I don't really know why. I just feel like it's the elite. I would have been gutted to have qualified for it last year, my debut at the Matchplay has to be at Blackpool. I'm happy we're going to have fans there as well."
"It's going to be a great spectacle to play on that iconic stage."
