Scott Williams will face Danny Noppert for a spot in the third round of the PDC
World Darts Championship and post match vowed not to change despite criticism over some of his on-stage antics.
Williams who is known as a bit of a darting maverick decided to go for a no-look 180 in his very first visit on the stage which saw the video reclipped and posted by various accounts but with complaints about his perceived arrogance.
But 'Shaggy' hit back and told fans to watch Emmerdale, a British soap if they don't like it and that if he's up on that stage, he will put on a show for the fans in similar vein to Cameron Menzies.
"That's just me and I am a bit of a weirdo. I'm not as mad as Cammy (Menzies) but especially on the world stages, you want to be the best you are and when you win a leg I've seen people on social media go on about Cammy and cringing how he reacts," said Williams post match.
"The boy is a plumber, he turns up and 3/4,000 people are watching and millions at home. He does what he wants up there. Just let us do what we do, you watch and behave yourself. That's what I'm going to continue to be and do and if I win a leg and I'm happy with it, that 127 was delightful by the way then I'm happy with it and I'll continue to do it."
"People know who I am and they know what they're getting. Haruki knows I'm going to do something stupid at some point and that was the one and I'll do it again Thursday (the no look 180). If I want to do it, I'll do it. If people don't like it, change your TV to Emmerdale or something."
