Joe Cullen punishes Ryan Searle misses to advance at World Darts Championships

Joe Cullen has advanced to the last sixteen at the World Darts Championship for the third time in four years. 'The Rockstar' defeated his compatriot Ryan Searle 4-2 in sets.

Cullen started the match strongly, winning the first two sets both 3-1. Searle, however, brought back the tension by winning set three 3-0 and then he also took set four 3-2.

Searle missed as many as six set arrows to take a 3-2 lead. Cullen took advantage with an 85 finish and retook the lead. 'The Rockstar' then got to start the odd legs in the sixth set and won that set 3-2 to decide the match.
