Mervyn King received a lot of attention during lockdown after going back to work becoming an Amazon delivery driver.
But 'The King' has now gone into construction with a friend and decided against continuing with his lockdown venture now.
"A bit different now, I was a delivery driver but now I've knocked that on the head in the last couple of months I've had a construction company. I formed that with a friend of mine," said King on the Not So Late Night Darts Show for PDC Europe.
This next week will see the return of crowds at darts with the Premier League with King could have been involved in if he had defeated Jonny Clayton in the Masters final earlier in the year.
"The atmosphere with the crowd there is second to none. We do miss it a lot to be honest."
"They do the best to make a false crowd with the noise, it doesn't sound the same, it doesn't produce the same atmosphere but I suppose it's better than being deadly silent."
His fellow guest on the talk show was Rob Cross and the duo had words at the same tournament with cheating suspicions levelled at 'Voltage'.
"There's no way Rob done that on purpose but it's hard to recall what you want to say in an interview straight after a game. You miss a lot of stuff out. I had to say something or I wouldn't have been true to myself."
