Lewis on adapting to playing on outside boards at UK Open: "I've been pampered too much, it's very difficult"

Adrian Lewis barring his win over Joe Murnan has played mostly in the multi board room in making the fifth round at the UK Open which is a new found status for the two-time World Champion who is usually one of the first names in the main arena in years gone by.

A status which he admits takes some getting used to and he said there are a myriad of factors behind the difference and said it is nothing like a ProTour despite being a similar setup board wise.

"It's very difficult on those side boards, I'm not going to lie because obviously when you play on the ProTour you're in a cubicle," said Lewis to Online Darts

"When you're in there, you've got the crowd, you've got everyone taking their darts out so you're trying to focus on the treble and you can see everyone walking past. You're thinking oh no (head in hands), I've been pampered too much.

"It takes me back to when I won the World's and they put me on Board Five. But it's very difficult in there."
