Brenton Lloyd and Joe Comito will compete in the
New South Wales Darts Masters next month, while Darren Penhall secured his place in the
New Zealand Darts Masters after last tournament weekend on the DPA Tour.
Lloyd confirmed his starting spot by winning the qualifying tournament for the New South Wales Darts Masters. A 5-1 win over Bill Aitken in the final secured his television debut.
Comito will also compete in the World Series tournament in Wollongong, Australia. He benefits from a withdrawal by Brandon Weening. Comito was the next highest-ranked player on the DPA Order of Merit.
Penhall, who was already qualified for the New South Wales Darts Masters, qualified for the New Zealand Darts Masters as number one on the DPA Order of Merit. Penhall dominated the DPA Tour this year by winning as many as 11 of the 21 tournaments.
