Lourence Ilagan, Alexis Toylo and Ryusei Azemoto won the three tournaments on the PDC Asian Tour last weekend. The fourth tournament weekend of this circuit took place in the Malaysian city of Penang.

The first tournament of the weekend proved to be a triumph for Ilagan, who took his first title of the season by defeating ranking leader Alexis Toylo 5-2. As a result, Ilagan became the first Asian player ever with 10 titles on the Asian Tour.
However, there is a good chance that Toylo will soon join Ilagan, as the Filipino darter was successful at the second tournament this weekend. Toylo thus underscored his dominance on the Asian Tour this season. He has won five of the first 12 tournaments, while also losing two finals.
The final tournament of the weekend went to Azemoto Ryusei. In his final, the Japanese defeated Reynaldo Rivera 5-0. Ryusei had earlier ensured the elimination of Toylo at the last sixteen.
The Asian Tour consists of a total of 24 tournaments. Prize money is paid from reaching the last 64. The results are then included in the PDC Asian Tour Order of Merit. The top four players in this ranking after all tournaments are completed will receive an invitation to participate in the World Darts Championship.
