World champion and world number one
Luke Humphries has signed a new groundbreaking contract with darts manufacturer Red Dragon Darts.
The 29-year-old phenom, who also captured the World Matchplay title in July 2024, is ready to take his game to even greater heights with the extension of his partnership with his dart manufacturer.
Humphries' journey to the top has not been without challenges. He has overcome fear of failure and has become a beacon of inspiration for young players around the world. His meteoric rise proves that with dedication, hard work and belief in his own abilities, age is not a barrier to success in the competitive world of professional darts.
"I've always believed that success comes from putting in the hours," Humphries shared exclusively. "But what people don't always see is how much fun I have doing it. The tour life, the competitions, the fans – it's exciting. Sure, it's tough sometimes, but the joy of the game keeps me going," Humphries responded in the statement
on the Red Dragon Darts website.
Simon Hall, marketing director of Red Dragon Darts, is proud that Humphries has signed a new contract. "We've had the privilege of watching Luke grow from a promising young talent to the world's best over the past 12 years. It's an absolute honour to continue this journey with him. Luke embodies everything we stand for – innovation, dedication, and a genuine love for the sport at every level."
While Luke Humphries looks to the future, his focus remains on his supporters. "The fans are everything," he emphasised. "They're the reason I push myself so hard. I can't wait to get back on stage and feel the energy helping me achieve together in the coming years. With Red Dragon by my side and the best fans in the world cheering me on, the future looks brighter than ever."
