Luke Littler debuts with resounding win and average of over 105 on PDC Pro Tour

Luke Littler made a stunning entrance to the PDC Pro Tour on Monday in the first round of Players Championship 1. 'The Nuke' smashed the experienced Jim Williams 6-1 with an average of over 105.

It was his first match on the Pro Tour for Littler. The losing World Championship finalist played at the World Series and in the Premier League in recent weeks, but these tournaments do not count toward the world rankings.

The Players Championship tournament does count toward the PDC Order of Merit, where Littler can now add 1,000 pounds. In the first three legs, Williams was totally out of the game. With the Welshman within striking distance, Littler threw a 12-, 13- and 14-darter to lead 3-0.

Then for once, Littler was not out in six visits, and Williams was able to get on the scoreboard via a 40 finish. After that, Littler threw a 14-, 17- and an 11-darter to put a 6-1 final score on the scoreboard.
