In a ridiculously good quarterfinal, Luke Littler made it to the semifinals at the Czech Darts Open at the expense of Michael van Gerwen. Van Gerwen played a strong match, but still fell short against the unleashed teenage sensation from England.
The statistics are bizarre. Littler threw an average of 110.57, his third consecutive 110+ average at this tournament. He tallied six 180-scores and had a finish percentage of 46 percent. Van Gerwen countered with an average of 112.19 and five 180-scores, but had a finish percentage of just 16.7 percent (1/6).
