Lukeman impresses in Dragt win as Slevin whitewashes Hausotter

Martin Lukeman impressed as one of two players through to the second round to end the opening session at the Dutch Darts Championship in Leeuwarden.

Seeing off Martijn Dragt who qualified for the Euro Tour tournament in Leeuwarden via the Host Nation Qualifier on Thursday, it was a 6-3 win for 'Smash'.

Dragt lost it mainly in the early stages. He lost the first three legs, but then managed to come back to 5-3. Then Lukeman finished it off with a 50 finish with two ton-plus checkouts also throughout. He will face Dave Chisnall in the second round on Saturday.

Dylan Slevin had few problems with German qualifier Marcel Hausotter, who only averaged 68. Slevin won the match 6-0, leaving the Irishman to face Dirk van Duijvenbode on Saturday.
