This weekend the
Hungarian Darts Trophy will be finished in Budapest. There was even a first there for the homeland.
In the opening round, home favorite Nandor Major was 6-4 too strong for German Ricardo Pietreczko. This makes the Hungarian the first player from his country after eight years to win a match on the
European Tour.
By the way, Major was the only compatriot on the opening night of the Hungarian Darts Trophy who was able to give the home crowd at the MVM Dome in Boedepest a win. After all, Patrik Kovacs, Mihaly Vida and Gabor Jagicza all went down.
