Michael Smith and Nathan Aspinall recently indicated in several interviews that they have been training together regularly in recent weeks. These training hours are beginning to pay off.
On Wednesday, Smith visited Aspinall for a training session. During this, 'Bullyboy' managed to throw a nine darter, he reported on X with an attached photo. ''Finally your practice room has seen one,'' Smith jokes in the accompanying text.
The reigning world champion revealed during the Grand Slam of Darts that he has been racking up a lot of training hours. ''It's non-stop ramming toward the board. In a two-week period we put in 36 hours of training,'' Smith said.
