Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith qualified for the semifinals during the second night of play in the Premier League Darts on Thursday in Berlin.
Both players managed to overcome a deficit in their first match. Van Gerwen trailed 0-3 and 1-4 in his match against Nathan Aspinall, but came back into the match by throwing out 120 and 73. The 34-year-old from Vlijmen then won the match 6-4.
Smith was able to overcome an 0-3 deficit against Gerwyn Price. 'Bullyboy' threw out 170 among others and was ahead 4-3. Both players then held their own legs before Smith decided the match after a strong leg of his own.
