James Richardson claimed a brilliant start on Monday in the first group of the third week in the MODUS Online Live League.
Richardson, also known as 'Ruthless', defeated Fallon Sherrock (4-2), Colin Osborne (4-2), Joshua Richardson (4-3), Mike Warburton (4-0) and Les Wallace (4-3).
He also hit a nine-darter in the last leg of his match against his son, Josh.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the players in question will play against each other again in this group. The number one of the group after three days then qualifies for the final group on Saturday.
The numbers two and three will play a new group against three new players on Thursday evening and Friday evening. These are Lee Cocks, Matthew Dennant and Corrine Hammond.
The numbers four, five and six of the stand on Wednesday will also play a new group against new participants.
Keelan Kay, Josh McCarthy and Ben Hazel are the entrants in this group. They come into action on Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon. The top two of the two new groups also qualify for the final group, which therefore consists of five players in total.
Unlike the previous edition of the MODUS Live League, the games are not played online via a webcam. They are played at a TV studio in Southampton, England and can be followed via various bookmakers and the Online Darts YouTube channel.
