Noppert on facing Wright next at Dutch Darts Championship: "I am keen to get revenge this weekend"

Danny Noppert survived a real thriller in the second round of the Dutch Darts Championship. After a very exciting match, The Freeze won 6-5 against Martin Schindler.
"This is quite a relief", Noppert opens to TOTO Dart Kings. "It was a matter of winning the legs in which you could start the match and I did that very well. Martin kept pushing and after I missed a few match darts I was a bit nervous. Fortunately I was able to finish it off, as I really wanted to win in my own country."
Revenge
In the last sixteen Noppert will take on Peter Wright, who defeated Jermaine Wattimena in the second round. "Last week I got my ass kicked in the quarterfinals of the European Darts Grand Prix (6-1). So you can be sure that I am keen to get revenge this weekend", Noppert laughs.

- He looks very healthy. I doubt he can run or anything. You need carbs for that. Carbs fuel your brain also. It is the preferred energy source for the brain.
