Participants announced for final two Players Championship tournaments of 2023 including van Gerwen, Price, Humphries, Wright and Michael Smith

On Nov. 1 and 2, the final two Players Championship tournaments of the season will be played. The field of participants for both tournaments consists of 128 players each.
All Tour Card holders are guaranteed participation in the Players Championship tournaments. Nathan Aspinall, Corey Cadby, Ronny Huybrechts, Adrian Lewis, Geert Nentjes, Christian Perez, Pascal Rupprecht and Lewy Williams did not register. Therefore, eight reserve players from the Challenge Tour have been called to participate.
Berry van Peer, Christian Kist, Cam Crabtree, Owen Bates, John Henderson, Andy Boulton, Wesley Plaisier and Chris Landman are the substitutes. There are a number of the sport's top players competing including Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith, Luke Humphries, Dave Chisnall, Joe Cullen, Gary Anderson, James Wade, Peter Wright, Raymond van Barneveld, Chris Dobey, Jonny Clayton, Josh Rock, Rob Cross, Dimitri Van den Bergh and more.
For players, these two Players Championships are the last chances to qualify for the Players Championship Finals. It is also the last way to qualify for the World Darts Championship via the Pro Tour.
