PDC Development Tour Order of Merit: Wessel Nijman concludes as dominant winner, Beau Greaves secures top-10 placing

By a large margin, Wessel Nijman has finished the PDC Development Tour Order of Merit as number one. It is a wonderful farewell to the Dev Tour for the 24-year-old Nijman, as he will no longer be eligible to play on this circuit next year.

The Development Tour is the youth circuit of the PDC and consists of a cycle of 24 tournaments. Nijman reached the final eight times, and managed to turn as many as seven finals into wins. He earned a total of 25,125 pounds on the 2024 Development Tour circuit. By winning the annual ranking, Nijman has secured entry into the Grand Slam of Darts in November.

Close behind, Niko Springer finished second with 15,425 pounds. The German himself reached six finals, of which he won three. Keane Barry captured third place with 13,475 pounds, after three Development Tour titles this season. 

Because Nijman has already qualified for the World Darts Championship via the Pro Tour, the numbers two and three will receive an invitation to compete at Alexandra Palace. Springer and Barry can thus prepare to participate in the World Darts Championship.

Springer will keep one more prize from his Development Tour season. Namely, he will also receive a PDC Tour Card for 2025 and 2026. Bialecki will also receive a Tour Card for the next two seasons. The Pole finished fifth on the PDC Development Tour Order of Merit, but benefits because Nijman, Barry and number four Nathan Rafferty already have Tour Cards for 2025.
