The European branch of the PDC is keen to expand its referee team for Euro Tour tournaments. But what do you need to do to send in your application?
You have to make a video, in which you show your 180, 177, 140, and 100 score. Also, the video must include the famous 'game shot and the match' and you may showcase an additional score of your choice, along with an additional introduction about yourself. The video should be sent to
[email protected] with the subject line 'Caller Casting'.
The best applicants will be invited to showcase their talents at one of the ProTour tournaments. The best callers get to compete in the show 'MADHOUSE' on German SPORT1.
In this show, the winner is eventually chosen. This winner then gets to referee a major darts gala in Saarbrรผcken with Gabriel Clemens, Michael Smith, Jonny Clayton and Joe Cullen. If the cooperation with PDC Europe is satisfactory, you may then be used more often for tournaments in the future.
