According to Arjan van der Giessen on Viaplay the PDC won't wait for The Masters anymore to introduce the Premier League line-up. The PDC will go back to announcing the line-up after the World Championship by next year.
PDC reportedly set to revert to announcing Premier League Darts line-up in future after World Championship

The Premier League Darts started on Thursday night after a short turnaround after the Masters and in turn the PDC getting a lot of criticism from fans regarding the picks that were added to the top four already qualified for the line-up.
Now it seems plans are afoot to go back to the previous announcement style with the end of the World Championship set to return reportedly.
Arjan van der Giessen who works for Viaplay on the coverage of the Premier League said that they will not wait until after the Masters from next year onwards and they will go back.
This was previously mooted by Matt Porter earlier in the week on his interview regarding the line-up saying that conversations may need to take place regarding the timing of the announcement also to help plan the players better for the gruelling schedule ahead.
