Gerwyn Price hit a maiden nine-darter on day two of action at the Czech Darts Open where he beat Glen Durrant in an epic contest which saw him come from the brink to claim control.
Price has had many close shaves when it has come to nine-darters usually missing double 12; he said afterwards that it was going to happen sooner or later.
He acknowledged his missed doubles saying that every time usually he misses it but this time it went in.
“It’s the first one I’ve ever hit in competition, it was going to happen sooner or later,” said Price.
“Every time I’m on for the nine I always miss the double and today (Saturday) it’s gone in.”
