Price to put training in ahead of charity boxing match: "Otherwise I'm going to look stupid"

Gerwyn Price admitted that he is afraid of making himself look stupid during his boxing debut when he swaps his arrows for boxing gloves on April 9.

Price takes part in a charity boxing match near his home town of Markham and wants to put the training in to alleviate the potential of that happening.

“It was a bit of a joke to start off with but things have got a bit serious now. One of my mates was an ex-pro and a very good boxer," he said to Oche.

“So I’ve got to get some training in and get myself ready otherwise I’m going to look stupid.

“It’s also to raise funds for three chosen charities, one very close to my heart St David’s hospice who cared for my mother-in-law for a short while with her battle with cancer, they were incredible. Let’s raise as much as possible.”
