Gerwyn Price has fractured his throwing hand according to his social media. 'The Welshman' had suffered an injury to his right hand which was swollen but there was no prognosis till now.
Price had skipped Premier League Darts in Brighton on March 10 for that reason after it suddenly became an issue but played in Nottingham and Rotterdam. He also travelled to Niedernhausen to play in
Players Championship action and won a tournament.
But now could be out of action for a month with doctors telling him to wear a cast for four weeks. He has since said he will remove this to play so fears he will miss Premier League Darts action aren't the case. But his boxing match has been moved to Friday, May 13.
"So I've been playing with a fractured hand all along," he wrote. "And you need to have it in plaster for four weeks. Sorry but I can't do that just put me in a splint please."
