The 24 competitors at the 2022 World Series of Darts Finals will split £300,000 in prize money from 16 to 18 September.
The 16 qualifiers are guaranteed five thousand pounds, while the top eight on the seeded list will earn 7,500 pounds in prize money anyway for their presence at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam where this year's World Series of Darts Finals will be staged again.
The winner of this tournament will receive a cheque for £70,000. The losing finalist will have to make do with more than half as much. The World Series of Darts Finals is not a ranking tournament, so players are only playing for their bank accounts this weekend.
Michael van Gerwen managed to win four of the past seven editions of this tournament. In 2019, he won the World Series Finals in Amsterdam after an-all Dutch final against Danny Noppert. Last year, when the event also took place in Amsterdam, Jonny Clayton walked away with the title.
