Ratajski reflects after comeback win over Ashton: 'When I was 4-1 down, I still believed'

Krzysztof Ratajski denied Lisa Ashton the opportunity to become the second woman to win a match at the Grand Slam of Darts after coming from 4-1 down to win through 5-4.

Ratajski saw doubles as a major issue for him and that Ashton took her opportunities as a result. He also discussed an important tie with Michael Smith.

"It was a very difficult moment for me when I was 4-1 down but I still believed. The doubles were close (in the opening exchanges) but Lisa took it every leg. I don't know what happened, it was close but didn't hit the target," said Ratajski post match.

"I hope I will play even better than today, maybe the same but with better doubles and we will see. I know Michael can play very well and we will see what will come."
